Moonlight Ride

Moonlight MTB Ride to Mississippi Lake (or shortened 1/2 route)

Join us under the full moon for a thrilling, but challenging Moonlight MTB Ride to Mississippi Lake! Get ready to pedal under the full moon and stars, starting at the Hunting Hollow Park Entrance. We will then head out to Mississippi Lake and loop back. You can either do the entire 38 mile (7,100 foot elevation gain) route, or take a shortened 23 mile (4,000 foot elevation gain) route. Bring your bike, lights capable of giving up to 6 hours of light, helmet, and a sense of adventure! Don't forget to bring enough water and snacks to power you through the climbs. Join us for a unique experience of riding by moonlight. See you there! Registration is free, but there is a $6 parking fee, bring the exact $ amount, no change for the parking fee drop box. Registration will be full when it reaches 25 riders. Please only register if you are sure you will attend, so you don't take someone else's spot. See the route plan here: 38 mile route - https://www.strava.com/routes/3232114774092130736 or 23 mile route - https://www.strava.com/routes/3232417279369075146

Riders who are registered for the event will be required to sign a waiver, and bring the signed waiver and turn it in at the beginning of the ride. You can view the waiver here: https://henrycoe.net/events/MTB_RIDE_2024/attachments/BikeEventsWaiverForm.pdf . The ride will begin at 6pm on Saturday, July 20th, and end at 2am on Sunday.

This ride is unsupported, and you will be required to bring your own hydration and food to power you through the ride. There will be volunteers riding the event that can try to help you with a tire or mechanical issue, but you need to bring spare tubes, a pump and tools to be self sufficient.
