Henry W. Coe State Park
We will be removing brush from Hunting Hollow Road with this event staged from the Hunting Hollow entrance parking lot. Come for early registration and donuts at 8:30 AM; registration closes at 9:00 AM and we will shuttle in to the work area via park vehicles.
This trail work day is open to the public. You must watch this event to confirm where it will be, what time it will be, and whether it will be held at all. Check this event on the Thursday before the event to verify the details. The details (including the venue) could change up to the day mentioned so you must check here to make sure of the event details.
Volunteers must contact Susan Ferry listed below so we know you are coming.
Lunch at noon. Please bring your own food and water.
Wear sturdy footwear and clothes for the activity and expected climate. Bring and wear personal protective gear including gloves and eye-wear.
Poison oak, ticks and other objective hazards may be encountered.
You will be required to sign a waiver in order to participate.
Parking is free for volunteers if a parking pass is obtained during the orientation and displayed upon your windshield/dashboard.
Event ends at 3:00 PM, see above for leaving early. If there is a medical emergency we carry radios to contact the park's rangers.
