Coit Camp Weekend

The Pine Ridge Association is offering an organized campout in the western interior of Coe Park. Here is your chance to camp and ride or hike some of the remote and less traveled trails out of reach of most day users.

The campout will include equestrians and hikers.

Cost: Equestrians - $20 per night with a two night minimum
          Hikers - $15 per night with a two night minimum

Entry to the park can either be Friday or Saturday morning or Friday afternoon, and the exit will be Sunday afternoon or Monday afternoon.

Guided hikes and rides on your own horse will be offered or you may ride or hike on your own.

Cost of entry includes camping fees, horse manure pickup, light appetizers, soda and bottled water Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday afternoons.

Hikers will camp in an area away from the horses but nearby the camp kitchen.

Meals will be sold separately. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday breakfasts will cost $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.
                                             Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dinners will cost $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under.

Menu: Friday dinner - Spaghetti, separate Meatballs, Salad, French Bread, and Strawberry Shortcake
                Saturday breakfast - Omelets to order, English Muffins, Fruit, Coffee, Tea and Juice
                Saturday dinner - Rotisserie Chicken, Potato or Macaroni Salad, Corn on the cob, Salad, Pie and Ice Cream
                Sunday breakfast - Eggs, Pancakes, Sausage, Coffee, Tea and Juice
                Sunday dinner - Ribs, Beans, Fruit Salad, Corn Bread, and Brownies
                Monday breakfast - Yogurt, Granola, Cereal, Sweet Rolls, Fruit, Coffee, Tea and Juice

Limited space, reserve early. Entries must be postmarked by 5/17. No refunds after 5/17!!

Need to know

- 4 wheel drive highly recommended for horse trailers as we will travel over 3 miles on a dirt road.
- Trailers over 20' long, please contact the person below.
- Water for your horses as well as people will be available.
- Sorry, no dogs. All state park rules apply.
